Our Chartered Surveyors offer a full range of support services to developers, investors, property owners and estate departments.
All of these services are director-led. However, to provide a comprehensive range of services covering all aspects of the construction or property industry, we also work with a trusted network of other professionals. We draw on their wide-ranging skills and knowledge to help successfully deliver a single point of contact for consultancy services within the built environment.
Contract Administration & Employer’s Agent
As chartered quantity and building surveyors, a large part of our work involves acting as an employer’s agent on design-and-build contracts, or as contract administrators on traditional forms of contract – on behalf of the employer. Our work covers everything from assessing the brief and determining priorities, advising on preliminary investigations and the appointment of designers and contractors, through to coordinating the project and ultimately administering the chosen form of building contract.
Party Wall Surveying
We offer a complete range of party wall surveying and advisory services. We can act as the party wall surveyor for building owners and adjoining owners, and provide detailed advice on all party wall matters. Our work can include assessing the condition of party walls and structures, and determining liabilities. As members of the Pyramus & Thisbe Club (P&T), we keep abreast of party wall legislation and procedure, and promote best professional practice in its application. We are fully qualified to serve notices and prepare awards under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, no matter how small or complex the issue.
Health & Safety Services
The UK has some of the highest health and safety standards for construction sites in the world, and we are proud to play our part in upholding and maintaining those standards. Through our network of trusted health and safety specialists, we offer a complete range of health and safety services, including acting as principal designer under the CDM regulations. Our work ensures buildings are constructed or refurbished safely and in line with all current standards. We can prepare health and safety policies, help to develop construction phase health and safety plans, prepare health and safety feasibility reports and carry out site inspections and audits. We can also prepare risk assessments and method statements to ensure your buildings are constructed safely and efficiently with minimal risk to people working on site.
