Buildings in the leisure sector cover a huge variety of applications and amenities, from sports facilities, pools and leisure centres to hotels, restaurants and bars. Our experience includes working on all of these, as well as mixed-use developments with elements of leisure provision.

We have consulted on many projects in this sector, from sports fields, leisure centres and swimming pools, to a coastal beach management centre and a specialist equine facility. Our team has also been involved in projects to convert commercial office buildings into residential premises that incorporate leisure tenants, such as bars, gyms and shops.

Sports Pavilion and Pitches, University of Bradford

Project Summary:

Aspect 4 provided quantity surveying services for the provision of new sports pitches and the substantial refurbishment of an existing sports pavilion, including a changing room extension.

The project comprised two separate contracts. The first involved taking up and replacing the existing sports pitch surfacing, markings, drainage, fencing and sports equipment, as well as floodlight refurbishment and associated works.

The second contract covered the full refurbishment of the sports pavilion, including a new roof covering, wall cladding, windows, doors, fittings, mechanical and electrical services, plus construction of a new changing room extension with full internal fit-out.
