YRG Eclipse, Cottingham

Project Summary:

Packaging print and design specialist YRG Eclipse wanted to relocate to a modern new facility, to help grow the business and to showcase some of the industry’s most cutting-edge print and plate processing technology. The building chosen was a former religious meeting hall. Converting the building involved stripping out the interior, installing a new first floor, replacing the roof and creating a new internal layout to accommodate a design studio, new machines – including specialist machinery for solvent recycling – an office and meeting rooms.

The project also involved creating bright, modern staff facilities, improving the external space, installing a new electrical sub-station and new data connections. Aspect 4 assisted in the building acquisition, dealing with funders and liaising with legal advisers all the way through to the new facility going live. Aspect 4 also coordinated and advised on interior design and furniture provision to ensure the completed building fulfilled the high standards demanded by YRG Eclipse.
